If you plan to be in Cumbre del Sol in the weekend from 9th to 10th April, we have a good proposal to spend your free time. Only 4 km from the estate, in Moraira, the Fiesta del Mar party will be held during the weekend, at Playa de L’Ampolla beach, next to the castle.
Fiesta del Mar in Moraira is a sea-themed party, with activities such as kayaking, standup paddle —SUP, sailing, beginner’s lessons, competitions, contests, exhibitions, etc.

Enjoy the Hiking Paths at Benitachell
The Moraig Cove in Poble Nou de Benitatxell
With the arrival of April, the weather invites to go out and enjoy the fresh breeze and the warm sun. We thought it would be a good idea to share some information about one of the most beautiful hiking paths across Costa Blanca north: the “Ruta de los Acantilados” or cliffs’ path, starting on Cala Moraig cove and ending on Cala Llebeig cove, At Cumbre del Sol, in Poble Nou de Benitachell town.
This route takes about 2 hours to complete (1 hour back, 1 hour forth) and is considered to be of medium difficulty.
II Mountain Race Jávea on April 3, 2011
One of the many routes to Montgo
For the second consecutive year a Mountain Race will be held in Jávea, which will follow the hiking trail of the Montgó Mountain.
Next Sunday April 3 runners and hikers will take part in this race through the Nature Reserve along a circular route that goes from the Palacio Municipal de los Deportes de Jávea (Jávea Sports Hall) to the top of Montgó and back.
Llebeig Athletics Club will be in charge of organizing (same as last year) this event which has the sponsorship and collaboration the Sports Council of Jávea.
The Royal British Legion Charity Concert
The Alicante Provincial Government together with The Royal British Legion is organizing a charity concert at the Auditorio Provincial de Alicante (Provincial Auditorium of Alicante) to be held on Saturday 2nd April.

The Royal British Legion is a non-profit association which provides socio-economic and emotional support to British soldiers and their families, including those currently living in Spain and especially in the coast of Alicante, where a large British expatriate colony is based.
The day of the event will be held two functions (at 12:00 and at 19:00 h.) on the occasion of commemorating the 90 anniversary of the founding of the British charity organization.
This will be the first time that an event to benefit the foundation will be held outside the UK borders.
