Rotary Club Benissa-Teulada

Every year, Ensemble 7 Claves and the Rotary Club Benissa-Teulada organise a series of charity concert cycles.

These events usually take place in Espai La Senieta, in Moraira. The last concert of the first cycle was held in December 2010 and the second cycle starts on 16th January and lasts 3 months, with one concert per month:

Sunday, 16^th January: Cinema music. Strings and flute concert. Starting time: 19:00 h.

Sunday, 6^th February: Great violin melodies. Two violins and a piano. Starting time: 19:00 h.

One of the many routes at Montgo

“Conoce el Montgó”, which in English would translate like “Get to know the Montgo” is a didactic program organised by the Montgo nature park. The dates of these free hiking tours for 2011 have already been set.

30^th January: The route called “Asentamientos Íberos del Montgó” –Iberian Settlements in the Montgo- will start in the Xara train halt and continue through the Iberian settlements of Alto del Benimaquia, Coll de Pous and Pic de l’Aguila.
Difficulty: Medium. Distance: 9 Km. Time: 3 hours and a half.

Christmas events by Xabia Historica

eve The shopkeepers association Xabia Historica has planned a series of activities to cheer up the city atmosphere during the Christmas season:

Thursday 23th December:
17:45 h: Polar Express, movie for kids. In Casa de Cultura. Free admission.
20:00 h: Santa Claus parade with Christmas Carols. The starting point will be Mercat Municipal. It will finish in Plaza de la Iglesia.
