New water tank for Benitachell

The Government of the Region of Valencia will finance this project
Benitachell will finally have a water tank.
In 1998, the Senija well was temporarily closed. This situation led to an analysis of the water supply required on the area in case of deficiencies in the service. It was calculated that on a day, the area would require 22,736 cubic metres.
To comply with this number, additional tanks had to be built, to increase the current capacity in 10.000 cubic metres. The decision was made to build a 6,000 cubic metres water tank in Teulada and another of 4,000 cubic metres in Cumbre del Sol.

Civil Defence and Volunteer Firefighters shared facilities
Civil Defence and Volunteeer Firefighters will share facilities in Benitachell
On Wednesday, November 24th at 11:00 h, the Foundation Stone ceremony to build the new Civil Defence Organisation and Volunteer Firefighters joint facilities in the Iris area of the Cumbre del Sol residential Park, in Poble Nou de Benitachell, north access (Benitachell), in front of The Lady Elizabeth Junior School.
The celebration will be attended by Honorable Mr. Serafin Castellano Gomez, Counselor of the Government of the Region of Valencia.
This is fantastic news for the Volunteer Firefighters and the Civil Defence Organisations of Benitachell.
