Volunteer fire fighters summer party and BBQ at Cumbre del Sol

The volunteer fire fighters at Cumbre del Sol are to celebrate their annual summer party night and BBQ on Saturday the 17^th of July at 6:00pm in the early evening. This celebration has become a tradition over the years when many residents of the Cumbre del Sol residential estate get together for a little party to help raise funds for the volunteer fire fighters that operate within the urbanisation.

The party is to be held with the cooperation of A.V.I.B., the International Association of Neighbours of Benitachell (Asociación de Vecinos Internacional de Benitachell) and will be at the North Entrance to the Cumbre del Sol, opposite the VAPF Group sales office at that entrance, in the parking area of the Eurohome office.

Zumbathon at Cumbre del Sol

Last Saturday, the 8th of May, a Super Zumba or Zumbathon dance party was held at Pueblo Montecala, in the Cumbre del Sol urbanization in Poble Nou de Benitachell, a two hour open air class with stunning views.

The Zumbathon at Cumbre del Sol organised by Kimberley Harrison took place to raise funds for the Children with Leukaemia organization and to help Karen Earthy’s nephew, who suffers from cerebral palsy and needs a wheelchair.

Benitachell town cultural activities for May

Benitachell fiestas in honour of the Virgin of the Rosary

Once again the streets of Poble Nou de Benitachell are decked out for the celebration of the festivities in honour of the Virgen of the Rosary 2010.

We hereby highlight the most significant events of the fiestas schedule for 2010:

Saturday 1^st May: bell ringing at 1pm to announce the beginning of the festivities; offering flowers to the Virgin at 7:30pm and from 12am, mobile discotheque.
